Julian joined E.A. Rae & Associates (now Hidi Rae Consulting Engineers Inc.) in June of 1990, bringing with him 20 years of consulting experience. Julian’s background and expertise is diverse and broad based. In South Africa, he was directly involved in a variety of projects including office buildings for Prudential Assurance and Southern Life and pharmceutical plants for Wyeth Laboratories and Roche Products.

Julian has acted as Project Principal for the design of:

• No.1 Department Store in Shanghai, China,
• Upgrades to the Computer Centre at TD Bank
• Royal Bank’s Direct Banking Facility at 180 Wellington St. West
• The Grantley Adams International Airport in Barbados, West lndies
• ATI's new Office Building in Markham
• CIBC Business Recovery Centre
• Minto Yonge & Eglinton Residential Project, Toronto
