John joined Hidi and Associates Inc. (now Hidi Rae Consulting Engineers Inc.) in 1998, bringing 18 years of consulting experience.

John has been the Principal-in-Charge of:

• ATI Office Building in Markham
• Cara Flight Kitchen at Pearson International Airport
• Revenue Canada design-build office project, Hamilton Ontario
• Niagara Falls Casino , a joint venture project with The Mitchell Partnership Inc.
• TD Tower Concourse Level Food Court Renovation
• Westaim Advanced Display Technologies , design build clean room in Toronto
• West Bay Lagoon Hotel in Doha, Qatar (Concept Design)
• Minto Yonge & Eglinton Residential Project, Toronto

In addition to his consulting activities, John has also taught a mechanical building systems course at the School of Architecture, University of Waterloo, for eight years.
